Instructions:

1.Heat the oil:  Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.


2.Add the onions:  Add the onions and cook until softened.


3.Add the spices:  Add the garlic, ginger, cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam  masala. Cook for 30 seconds.


4.Add the tomato puree:  Add the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes, or until the tomatoes break down.


5.Add the water:  Add the water and bring to a boil. 

Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the gravy thickens.


6.Add the paneer:  Add the paneer cubes to the gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the paneer is heated through.


7.Add the heavy cream:  Stir in the heavy cream.


8.Add the cilantro:  Stir in the chopped cilantro.


9.Serve:  Serve hot with rice, naan, or roti.


Tips:

  • For a spicier dish, add more red chili powder.
  • You can also add other vegetables to this dish, such as potatoes, carrots, or peas.
  • If you don't have heavy cream, you can use milk or yogurt.
